In my magazine i have used things similar to what have been used in Kerrang Magazine as i was trying to appeal to the same kind of audience. i have used the same kind of scratchy font and also the same layout of the models as their heads are all placed above the main sell line yet under the mast head. Also the costumes are similar as they are both wearing dark clothes which again relates to the sam e kind of audience.
I didn't completely use all of the things kerrang used because i wanted my magazine to differ from others. I changed the typical colour scheme as i went with blue white and black instead of red white and black, this is to make my magazine more edgey and stands out from the others.
The pictures above are my rough cuts of my product, I got feedback off these and i changed my product to make it look more professional. The things i changed are, the picture on my front cover as this one was not fitting into the genre i was trying to appeal to. Also the size and the location of the sell lines on the front cover because this looked messy and not very professional. In my contents page i changes the colour of the columns on the right hand side to black and then put white and red writing in them to make it stand out more. And also in my DPS i changed the font colour on the first letter of every word i made it the same colour blue as the blue that is all the way through my magazine to make it all look more professional and it makes it all flow better.

Throughout designing my magazine i always had the idea of a distorted/scratchy font as my mast head because it will appeal to the audience i am appealing to as you can see on my rough cuts. Things that i have changed on my front cover are, i have made my main sell line smaller than what it is on my rough cuts so that the layout of the magazine looked more professional. I also changed my mind on having a box behind the leeds badge because i thought it looked better without and that it stood out more.
When designing my contents page, i drew up a layout that i wanted in my magazine's contents page. As you can see i have kind of kept to that layout with the pictures on the left with my next weeks issue feature and also with the columns on the right. What i changed was the size of the font and pictures to make it all look more professional so that appealed more to my target audience.
Again i always had an idea of a layout for my DPS also, this is shown how i have two columns on the right hand page and a picture on the left. I changed this by adding smaller pictures on the bottom and then changing most things so that it fits better and is more professional looking.

This is the feedback of my final product, these are the questions i asked:
- What draws your attention to the product?
- What genre is it and how do you know?
- What do you consider are the strengths of the product?
- What social groups does it represent and how?
- Would you purchase the product and why?
- How would you improve the product?
